What restroom do I need for an outdoor wedding?
Most outdoor weddings with up to 250 guests use one 2-station restroom trailer, which handles about 900 uses. Weddings of 250 to 300 guests use a 3-station trailer. Without power or level ground, plan deluxe flushing units instead: 3 deluxe units plus 1 wheelchair-accessible unit for 150 guests over 6 hours with a bar.
| Guests (6-hour reception, bar served) | Restroom trailer option | Porta potty option |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 50 | 1 two-station trailer | 2 deluxe + 1 wheelchair-accessible |
| 51–250 | 1 two-station trailer | 3 deluxe + 1 wheelchair-accessible |
| 251–300 | 1 three-station trailer | 8 deluxe + 1 wheelchair-accessible + 1 hand wash |
| 301–500 | 1 three-station trailer + 3 deluxe units | 8 deluxe + 1 wheelchair-accessible + 1 hand wash |
Where should the wedding restroom go?
Place the wedding restroom trailer 75 to 150 feet from the tent or dance floor, on level ground, near a 20-amp outlet, and on a path guests can walk in dress shoes. Keep it downwind of dining. Light the path after sunset. Our truck needs a clear drive to back the trailer into place.
Estate weddings on large lots in Southlake, Colleyville and Flower Mound often place the trailer near the driveway for truck access, with a lit walkway to the tent. Ask your venue about delivery hours and gate width.
When should I book wedding restrooms?
Book wedding restroom trailers 2 to 3 months ahead for spring and fall Saturdays in Dallas–Fort Worth, when outdoor weddings peak. Deluxe porta potties usually need 2 to 4 weeks. We deliver the day before and pick up the next business day, so your rental covers setup and cleanup time.
- 3 months out: pick trailer or deluxe units; reserve the date.
- 1 month out: confirm guest count and the power source with your venue.
- 1 week out: confirm placement, gate codes and the delivery window.
- Wedding day: the restroom is stocked with soap, towels and paper.
- Next business day: we pick up. No cleanup for you.

Wedding Restrooms: questions we hear
Do wedding trailers have air conditioning?
Yes, most do. In a Texas summer, that matters. The trailer needs its own 20-amp circuit.
Can guests in wheelchairs use the trailer?
Standard trailers have steps. Add a wheelchair-accessible unit or book an accessible trailer.
What if my venue has no power?
We can arrange a generator, or you can choose deluxe flushing units, which need no power.
Will the trailer be stocked?
Yes. Soap, paper towels, toilet paper and air freshener are stocked at setup.
