Which porta potty type fits your job?
A standard porta potty fits most job sites and long rentals, and a deluxe flushing unit with a sink fits parties and weddings. Public events need wheelchair-accessible units for at least 5% of each cluster. Restroom trailers fit upscale events with power, and hand wash stations belong wherever food is served.

See specs and uses →When is each option the wrong choice?
Each porta potty option has limits. A restroom trailer is wrong where there is no level ground, no truck access or no 20-amp power. A wheelchair-accessible unit is wrong on a slope or soft grass without a firm path. A standard unit is wrong for a formal wedding where guests expect a sink and flushing.
- Restroom trailer: needs a level spot about 20 × 12 feet, room for the truck to back in, and a 20-amp outlet within 50 feet or a generator.
- Wheelchair-accessible unit: is 62 inches wide. It needs a gate of about 5.5 feet and a firm, level route from parking.
- Deluxe flushing unit: its flush tank lasts about 75 flushes. For long, busy events, plan a mid-event service.
- Standard unit: has hand sanitizer but no water. Add a hand wash station for food service or Irving permitted events.
